About Jared
Jared Gonzales is a seventh- and eighth-grade math teacher at Yavneh Hebrew Academy in West Los Angeles. He previously taught sixth-, seventh-, and eighth-grade math at Harkham Hillel Hebrew Academy in Beverly Hills. Jared helped students achieve among the highest standardized testing math growth results at both schools. Before moving to Beverly Hills, he taught fifth-grade math and science at a public school in Tulsa, Oklahoma through Teach For America.
Jared earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Dispute Resolution from the USC Gould School of Law. His training in conflict resolution and mediation helps him build consensus, navigate complex issues, and foster productive conversations with students, families, educators, and community members.
In addition to his work in education, Jared is a Team Beverly Hills alumnus, a member of the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce, a former member of the Mayor's Innovation Circle, and a member of the Beverly Hills High School PTSA. His commitment to Beverly Hills extends beyond the classroom through active involvement in the civic and educational life of the community.
